photography in the age of falsification Kenneth Brower
I found this article to be very interesting more so because of its date of publication, it reflects a lot of ideas that i feel very strongly about and talked about in my first essay, but its publication in 1998 completely threw me because to me it felt so relevant, and yet when it describes the process of digitally editing a photograph you suddenly notice the difference in techniques between then and now.it brought to mind the question: what has changed in the last 12 years regarding photography falsification?and because it interested me so much i feel like i could possibly use it for my reaction essay.
photographic truth —Aphrodite Désirée Navab
i found this article to be very informative in regards to the subject i am hoping to pursue in my reaction essay although it didn't excite me it did give ma a huge bulk of information about the topic and i believe i could use it for my reaction essay, so that i show how i felt and reacted to learning certain things in this essay about photographic truth like "Technological Determinism" a concept I had never heard of before but found to very interesting.
